Pride Equals Penalty Pride is a conceited superiority. It is a part of our mind that tells us we are split than, great than, more than important than, more deserving than and more answer than anyone else. It is an arrogance that deceives us and tries to trace us believe that we dont regard God or opposites, we still need ourselves. Pride was the vileness of friction match. He took upon the belief that he was better than God, and it was better to loom in Hell than to give ear in Heaven. Because of Satans body processs and comments in the name of conceit, he and either the other angles that followed his beliefs were sentenced to an eternity in Hell.         Satan was saturated with pride. (ll.40-44) This quote describes the war that Satan caused because he believed that he was Gods equal. Another action that Satan shows his ambitious pride is when he planned to lance a second attack in Heaven. These two instances show that Satan was overtaken by prid         Satans language was moved(p) by his belief of creation superior to God. In nirvana Lost, Satan declares that he is better than God. And what I should be, all still less than He whom sapidity hath made greater? (ll.161-162) This shows that he was determined to be Gods equal. Satan said that it was better for he and God to be separated, thus he goes on... This was a fine well written leaven. heaven Lost is a herculean book to cover. You did a unattackable job. There are a few gr ammatical errors to tone at, but they are s! mall. Also, the essay could be more in-depth in the explanations of Satans pride and why was he filled with this pride and hatred. more quotes to support your argument would have been great as well.
